Fecal tests can identify worms in the stool or other possible digestive problems.
A fecal test is a diagnostic tool.
In the hospital, we can perform fecal flotations to screen feces for parasitic worm eggs or protozoa.
Fecal tests can be performed in house with a fecal sample, or a sample can be sent to the laboratory if needed.
You can pick it up a sample from the litter box with the least amount of litter present on it. For transport to the hospital, you can use a Ziplock type bag or pick up a fecal collection container from us.
The cost can vary based on the tests required. Your Veterinarian will provide an estimate for you.
