One of the best things you can do for your pet is to keep him/her healthy, and one of the easiest and least expensive ways to do that is by bringing in your pet for regular exams and vaccinations. During your dog’s annual exam, the doctor will evaluate your dog’s lifestyle and customize the vaccine protocol to give your dog the best protection.

What types of vaccinations do you offer for adult dogs?

• Distemper/Adenovirus/Parvovirus/Para-influenza
• Lyme
• Bordetella
• Leptospirosis
• Rabies

Is there a schedule for how often a dog should be vaccinated?

• DA2PPV: If starting at eight weeks of age, the puppy will receive three puppy shots given four weeks apart with the last shot being given at sixteen weeks or older. Then yearly until two years of age and then every three years.
• Leptospirosis: Booster in three to four weeks then annually after that.
• Bordetella: Annually.
• Lyme: Booster in three to four weeks, then annually.
• Rabies: The first one is given at sixteen weeks. A booster is given one year later, then every three years.

Why is it important to vaccinate your dog?

• Protect animal and humans from preventable, zoonotic and potentially deadly diseases.
• Some vaccines are required when your dog is travelling out of the country (such as Rabies) or when they go for grooming or puppy classes (Bordetella).
