There has been a lot of information in the media lately about vaccinations for children and why some parents opt to delay vaccinations or choose not to vaccinate altogether.

Toxoplasma gondii or T. gondii is also a protozoan parasite, like giardia. However, is it related to the coccidian protozoa, rather than giardia. 

Giardiasis is a common intestinal disease found in our pets. It is NOT a worm, bacteria or virus. Giardia is commonly known as travellers’ diarrhea or ‘beaver fever.’
